Mrs E Brooks
CEO
I am incredibly proud of Coombe Academy Trust where I have led as our CEO since June 2021. I am passionate about developing research based practice, supporting school improvement work and developing inclusive practice.
By collaborating with colleagues to grow and thrive in their roles, we enable them to bring out the best in themselves and our pupils.
As a Chartered CIPD Member with extensive experience in education HR and leadership, I am dedicated to leveraging my skills to drive success and support Coombe Academy Trust's objectives and vision.
My career began in education, where I worked as a qualified Clerk to Governors and later progressed to a School Business Manager, earning my Level 4 SBM Diploma. Over the past 10 years, I have been privileged to be part of diverse Senior Leadership Teams across all key stages, from nursery to sixth form. This foundation provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape and the many facets of school operations.
Driven by a passion for people development, I specialised in this field, earning my CIPD and employment law qualifications. I have effectively applied these skills in managing MAT HR departments, allowing me to develop my expertise in HR strategy and employment best practices.
My commitment to providing outstanding leadership in supporting people within education aligns my personal career goals with the Trust's Vision and Values. By collaborating with colleagues to grow and thrive in their roles, we enable them to bring out the best in themselves and our pupils.
Beyond my professional life, I am a busy mum to three children and enjoy woodland walks with our family Beagle.

I work closely with colleagues from the other schools in the Coombe Academy Trust to our mutual benefit and my focus this year has been on developing our Innovative Leader programme from middle leaders across our Trust.
